Aand We’re back for another year! We’ve been working on getting everything ready to have another great downhill skateboarding event from skaters to skaters. Ready to enjoy a 3 day skate party, rippin down this incredible CLOSED road we love so much. The road is about 1.3 Miles long with a 10.65% average grade &17 corners of which some of them are incredibly fun, challenging and unique hairpins.

Keeping it simple, once again this edition will focus on skateboarding with nonstop runs from 10 am to 5pm on a closed and protected road, so you can skate as much as you want.

We will have the support of the local San Simon community to offer local food and beverages during the 3 days of the event on the main spectator corner at your disposal at any time you want to eat or rest.

 

The housing/camping options will be an extra purchase to the Registration for you to choose.

We will be staying at very convenient and comfortable Hotel in the town of Malinalco, for the riders to stay together and be closer to the festivities in the downtown area.

You can either book a spot on a shared room with a bed spot and complete bathrooms. Or go the cheap way and book "camping" to sleep within the camping grounds of the Hotel, so come prepared if so.

 

The event will be held November 1, 2 & 3 . About 1 hour and 30 minutes from Mexico City in the road leading to the town of San Simon el Alto at the entrance of Malinalco, Mexico State.

 

These dates are festive in Mexico as we celebrate and commemorate the “Day of the Dead” (Día de Muertos). The town of Malinalco is known for their celebration of this date. So, we are lucky to be in town for the special occasion. There will be a tour Oct 31st with the local parade going through the neighborhoods of the Town and showcasing the culture and folklore.

If you’d like to come and spend a day in Malinalco before the event to check that out and more! ( ancient ruins, local food and scenery, etc.) We highly recommend It and can help you figure it out!

 

Best date to fly in would be Wednesday October 30th Into Mexico City International Airport.

We recommend you contact the locals to get a ride or if you come with a big group consider renting a car which shouldn't be very expensive.

Este año regresamos ! Por segundo año consecutivo estamos trabajando para realizar un evento a la altura de sus expectativas y que disfruten una vez más de 3 días de fiesta bajando en su patineta por esta increíble carretera CERRADA que tanto queremos.

La Pista mide aprox. 2 km, con 17 curvas y un promedio de inclinación del 10.65%.

 

Manteniéndolo sencillo, el evento se centrará específicamente en el patín. Con bajadas sin parar de 10 am hasta las 5 pm. Con curvas protegidas y una pista completamente cerrada y segura para que patinen y practiquen todo lo que quieran.

 

Tendremos el apoyo de la comunidad de San Simón el Alto para ofrecer comida y bebidas durante los 3 días del evento en la curva principal para espectadores.

 

Podrán seleccionar la opción de alojamiento en el Hotel dónde nos estaremos quedando dentro de la compra del registro.

Ya sea en cuarto compartido en lugar en cama con baño completo ó en "camping" acampando dentro del Hotel en las zonas designadas.

El evento se llevará a cabo los días 1,2 y 3 de Noviembre en la carretera a San Simón el Alto en la entrada de Malinalco, Estado de México.

 

El costo del registro será de 1000$mxn. pesos desde la apertura del registro hasta el siguiente mes. ( 12 de Ago. - 12 de Sept.)

A partir del Segundo mes, el costo subirá 250$mxn. pesos cada mes hasta el cierre del mismo el 21 de Octubre.
